We just had our own little Halloween party. I made musubi and ate junk food. Baby  Uale and Rochelle helped give out candy. Rochelle kept giving out handful after we told her to give out only one. Baby Uale didn't care, he just wanted to eat. Othe than that it was a great Halloween. It was baby Uale's first and I was excited for that. He was the cutest little monkey.

It feels good to be on the other side

This past weekend was great. Daniel and I met up with his old young mens president when he use to live in Chicago. We met up at the Temple square and had lunch at the top of the Joseph Smith building. We talked about everything. He seemed like a very spritual guy, and he kept telling Daniel how proud he was of him and how he's come a long way. After lunch we went downstairs to say our good byes, and as he was walking away he turned around and called out Daniel and we turned around and he said " It's good to see you on the other side". Well let me tell yall, I cried, and I totally felt the spirit. I guess it's because I knew where i was in my life spiritually.

 In the darkest and lowest times of my life, I felt so alone and unworthy to ask God for help. I didn't know any better and I didn't understand the gospel. So I did what anyone else would do at that moment. I just kept living life,and doing whatever made me happy at the moment. I was blinded by the world, so I couldn't see the bigger picture. It took me a while before I really opened my eyes and see far beyond then what was in front of me.

As I look back at everything that I went through, it totally has made me stronger and it has made me who I am today. I love the way things are in my life today, it's not perfect but it's better than before. My love for the gospel has grown, and my love for the Lord is stronger than ever. So today i'm glad to say that it really does feel good to be on the other side.

Because I love you guys

Daniel has been working long hours lately, and when he gets home he's usually too tired to spend time with me and baby. So it has been bothering me lately. I complain when he gets home about how he needs to stop working long hours and to just come home and spend time with us. I complain about how he's always too tired to do anything.

So yesterday Daniel went to work from 7 til 7 last night, and it made me mad. I called him and he said his boss needed his help so he had to stay. When he got home last night I asked him if he even wanted to be home or to even spend time with us. He looked at me and said " babe I work long hours because I love you guys because I want you guys to be okay when you need something". I looked at him and said okay love.

So today before he left for work I told him that I was grateful for him and for working hard. I truly am grateful for him and for the kind of person that he is. He is a hardworker and He loves us very much. I should be grateful for that, but i felt like i've been selfish. I do miss my husband and I wish sometimes we were rich so that way he could be home with me and our son. But for now I should be grateful for him and for all that he does for our family.

So today i promised myself to be supportive no matter what. I told myself, instead of complaining about not having enough time with him. I am just gonna enjoy the time that we do have , even if it's just five minutes . Having little time with him is better than not having time at all. So thank you Love for taking care of me and and our son.

Oh baby Ua

So baby Uale likes to crawl all over the place now and touch everything. So what i do is I put him in his play pin, so he won't be able to crawl over the place. and well this is what he does when i put him in there.

He sometimes loves being in there and sometimes he screams his head off. And now he holds on to the side of the play pin so he can stand up, oh! and one time he tried to climb out.

LABOR DAY WEEKEND

Im still sore from yesterday. Ben and Tony decided to gang up on all of us. They started attacking us from the back and around the corner when weren't looking. They attacked us with water balloons and the water hose lol.  Oh poor Daniel, Lijah, Ula, and Chelle cause they got it worse. Tony picked up Ula and threw her on top of Daniel cause she was tryin to help him and Ben just sprayed them with water. It was hilarious. When Ula was kicking Ben her leg went around daniels head and her butt hit him in the face. Oh but poor chelle she was in the house looking out from the window laughing, and thinking that she wasn't gonna get it but as soon as she came out, Tony picked her up and took her over to the water and started spraying her. Oh i wish i could put up the video but dont know how, so for now here are the pics.

KICKING AND SCREAMING

So apparently baby Uale does not like to wear clothes or a diaper. Everyday after i give him a bath he fights with me. He kicks and screams and rolls over when i try to put on his clothes or his diaper. Some days im patient with him and some umm not so much. So it takes about 15 minutes to dress him, when it should only take 5 minutes. So after 15 minutes of wrestling with him trying to dress him, I finally get his  diaper and his clothes on. I then put him in his play pin, and he hates being in there but that's what happens when you dont wanna put a diaper or clothes on. At this very moment as i'm blogging he is in the play pin screaming and trying to climb out.

OUR WARD PICNIC

Well these are the pics from our ward picnic. It was HOT but we had a lot of fun. We played volleyball and ate and ate and ate some more. Well except for Ula, she pretty much spent all day playing on her new phone she got the night before. We tried to get her to come play but she would rather spend time with her phone.

BEES AND FLIES

On friday night we hung out in the garage cause mom's friends were here for their meeting. We ate we talked and ate some more. Then we started talking about when everyone use to party and how stupid we use to act back in those days, which i'm glad it's over with. Anyway then Ben told the story about how him and the girls went to go see the "Grudge" and how he got scared that night when lili came through the door and he screamed like a little girl...lol. Then we continued our conversation on to being scared of bees and flies, cause apparently little big Ben is scared of both...lol then okay my poor husband, i swear sometimes he doesn't think before he talks, well he came out of nowhere and said to Ben " your scared of flies? shoot i'm not, cause a fly could land on my underwear and i wouldn't even care". lol yes everyone started cracking up, and he sat there with this look of regret that he shouldn't have said somethin.

Can you help me???

So last night when Daniel and I were driving to Wal-mart ( The Spot) we talked about our financial situation and how we can do so much better. We talked about paying tithing and all the blessings that we can receive if we pay it all the time. We planned out our bills and talked about how we should always put a little on the side for savings, just in case something comes up.

On sunday we had our family home evening and our lesson was about paying tithing and budgeting and family. We discussed savings, budgeting, and spending with in our means,  of course we all had our inputs on how we can help each other out. It was a very good lesson and i needed it.

Anyway as we were driving it got quiet for a lil bit and then he asked, " babe can you help me?" I said yes of course and wondering what he needed my help with. He said " Can you help me read my scriptures everyday?"  Yes!!! I told him that i would be more than happy to help him. I know we struggle spiritually sometimes because we don't read our scriptures daily. We say our prayers but not as often as we should, and i know we need to get better at it. Sometimes i find myself sitting around doing nothing and watching tv, when i should be reading my scriptures and saying my personal prayers. So as i sit here and think to myself " how can i help my husband with something that im not even good at?" Well the solution is to use my free time when the kids are taking a nap to read my scriptures.

OUR DAY YESTERDAY

Okay!!! So yesterday everyone decided to go the luau at Ula's school. We hung out and tried to enjoy the show, but it was kinda of boring. Ula had a booth where she was showing off samoan jewelries and other stuff and we just walked around, and looked at all the Micronesians that go there. Oh boy!! I tell ya there's a lot of them. So as i stood there looking around i asked myself..I said "self?" and myself said "hmm" well have you ever seen so many black people in ur life?? well "NO" I said. Well anyway the show was okay, but it got even better when the Tongans performed. I love the way they move, it's so pretty and the guys did a good job. After the luau we came home and ate again.

Baby Uale and Rochelle

Every morning I put baby Uale in his walker so i can get breakfast ready for him and Rochelle. And every morning he screams everytime i put him in there he does not like sitting in that thing. Rochelle on the other hand is asking questions non-stop and telling me how she didn't pee in bed the night before. So i'm always looking forward to my mornings with these two monkeys..lol:)

Our day to day routine- We have our breakfast, then i clean the house while they watch tv, then we have school, after school, they watch a lil bit more tv while i make lunch, after lunch we take a nap, and while they take naps i do laundry and clean some more and now blogging something that's new to my list, after nap time we have a snack and then play and read a book and wait for everyone to get home.

School with Rochelle and Baby Uale is Great. Rochelle tells me what to do and baby Uale just cries for the paper so he can eat it. Sometimes Rochelle will ask me if she could read to baby Uale and of course i tell her yes. So she would sit there and read to him, saying whatever that comes to her head, I know this cause she would say dora when the book is about pinnochio..lol:) she's somethin else, and while nshe's reading to him, baby Uale just sits there and stare at her and then he would all of a sudden start laughing.

The first day when we started school, we learned our names and our age and our favorite color. So now whenever we ask Rochelle what her name is she says " My name is Rochelle Manuma, Im 3 yrs old and my favorite color is blue. We also learned the alphabet and how to write letters, so she now knows how to write a big -A- and a small -a-, but sometimes she gets lazy and tells me to write it for her. We're still working on numbers but she's gettin better, because before she would jump from 3 to 9 and skip the rest..lol oh man this girl is just funny sometimes.

A few weeks ago as i was minding my own mind as Ariel would say, i was in the kitchen cleaning when i heard Rochelle say " baby Uale talk to me, let's talk about it" and baby Uale just gave her this weird look (awww) poor thing I know she misses Ariel cause she would would at least talk back to her. Everyday she talks about Ariel, most of the time it's"Ariel is not a good girl or Ariel lost my dora backpack, and she's always comparing Ariel to her..lol and of course that's because she always says that she's a good girl and even baby Uale is a bad boy all the time, so she says.

Oh man everyday is an adventure with these two. Baby Uale is startin to talk a lot and crawling all over the place, oh and he has teeth now and so he thinks he can eat anything. Rochelle always has something to say and she still asks if she could use the toiilet. I love it cause everyday they give me a reason to love them even more.

LITTLE SUMTHIN BOUT ME

WELL HELLO EVERYONE!! THIS IS MY FIRST TIME DOING THIS SO I HOPE YA LIKE WHAT I WRITE ON HERE. MY SISTER LILI GOT ME STARTED BLOGGING. SHE'S THE QUEEN OF BLOGGING, BUT THAT'S OKAY I LIKE READING HER BLOGS.
WELL SINCE IT'S MY FIRST TIME I WOULD LIKE TO SAY A LIL BIT BOUT MYSELF. I AM MARRIED TO THE MOST HANDSOME, INTELLIGENT, HUMBLE, HARD WORKING MAN. HE MAKES ME HAPPY, AND ALTHOUGH WE HAVE OUR HARD TIMES IT'S OKAY BECAUSE IT ONLY MAKES OUR LOVE FOR EACH OTHER EVEN STRONGER. WE HAVE THE CUTEST BABY BOY HIS NAME IS BABY UALE, BUT MY NIECE ARIEL CALLS HIM BABY UA OR BABY UALA LOL:) WE MISS ARIEL. HMMM WHAT ELSE???? OH YEAH CAN'T FORGET MY NEW BEST FRIEND ROCHELLE LOL:) SHE'S NICE TO ME WHEN IT'S JUST US AT HOME BUT THEN WHEN HER GRANDMA GETS HOME SHE TELLS ON ME LOL:) I LOVE IT.WELL THATS ALL FOLKS FOR NOW...WILL UPDATE LATER.
